### Which AI 3D generator lets me download print files for free?

When we checked on October 31, 2026: Meshy (up to 10 Meshy 6 Lite downloads a month, CC BY 4.0) and Tripo (15 exports a month, non-commercial). Wandy3D's print check is free, but the file needs a plan or a $1.99 unlock.

### Can an AI-generated model be printed as it is?

Often not without fixes: a generated surface can have holes, hidden hollows and parts thinner than your nozzle. Wandy3D rebuilds the model into one closed solid and tells you what it changed; Meshy checks and repairs; with other tools you repair it in the slicer or a mesh tool.

### STL or 3MF?

Every mainstream slicer reads both. 3MF keeps units and colours — use it for multi-colour prints; STL is the most widely supported single-colour format.

### Can I sell what I print?

Wandy3D: yes, with a paid plan or a model unlock (Terms 4.2). Meshy: paid plans own the output; free models are CC BY 4.0 with credit. Tripo: commercial use on paid plans; free models are non-commercial.
