Build a 2D side-scrolling jetpack shooter in the spirit of a classic doodle-army arena game, playable in the browser. Include a title screen with a bold logo and a menu for play, loadout, character and settings. The player is a small soldier with a jetpack who flies between floating platforms and a ground level over a layered forest-and-mountain backdrop with a glowing sun. Provide weapon selection with stat bars, a character colour customiser, a match timer, a health and fuel readout, kill and elimination messages and a score for the opposing bots. Add simple smoke and explosion effects when shots land. Keep the art flat and colourful with parallax scenery. Deliver one self-contained HTML file with keyboard and mouse controls for moving, thrusting, aiming and firing. Done means a full match can be played from the title screen to an elimination and a restart.
