Three.js 3D platformer on floating islands with a cap-throw mechanic

GPT-6 Astra built, tested and recorded a Three.js platformer with Rapier physics: eight island platforms, three moons to collect and a returning cap attack.

Build brief by Wandy3D

The author didn't share a prompt, so we wrote down how to recreate this build.

Build a 3D platformer level in the spirit of a classic plumber adventure, as a browser game using Three.js, Rapier physics and WebAudio. Create a set of floating grassy islands in a bright blue sea, with palm trees, flowers, stone steps, a red balloon airship at the start and a stone arch with a flag at the end. The player is a small hero with a red cap who runs, jumps and throws the cap as a returning projectile. Include 8 platforms, 3 collectible moons, coins, walking enemies, checkpoints, a hearts display, a timer and short on-screen hints. Make all models procedural from primitives, add original synthesized music and sound effects, and support keyboard and touch controls. Use a cheerful, saturated cartoon palette. Done means the level can be finished from start to the completion banner without falling, with stable physics.

How to use this prompt

  1. Paste the build brief into GPT-6 Astra in an agent that can run a browser and record play.

  2. Change the theme, island count, collectibles, enemies or the throw mechanic to make the level yours.

  3. Open the game, play it, and ask the agent to fix physics or camera issues and record a new run.
