Interactive Chinese courtyard house built in Blender and Three.js

GPT-6 Astra scripted a Chinese courtyard in Blender, then Three.js made it explorable, with a pond, waterfall and furnished rooms to walk through.

Code alone gets you simple shapes. Wandy 2 turns one photo into a textured 3D model you can use in the same scene.

Build brief by Wandy3D

The author didn't share a prompt, so we wrote down how to recreate this build.

Build an interactive 3D Chinese courtyard house for the web. First model the scene in Blender with Python scripts: a square paved courtyard enclosed by wooden-framed pavilions with grey tiled roofs, a pond with lily pads, koi, rocks and a small waterfall, sculpted pine trees, bamboo, a living room with sofas and a low table, and a bedroom with a bed and lamps. Use a soft low-poly style with warm wood, cream plaster, sage green and pale stone, against a misty mountain backdrop. Export the scene as GLB and load it in Three.js. Add an orbit overview camera plus a walk-in mode that lets the viewer move through the rooms, gentle ambient animation such as flowing water and swimming fish, and a small side panel with toggles for time of day and lighting. Deliver a runnable web project with the exported GLB. It is done when the overview and the interior views both look coherent and the panel changes the lighting.

How to use this prompt

  1. Paste the build brief into GPT-6 Astra in a coding agent that can run Blender Python scripts and export GLB.

  2. Swap the building type, rooms, plants or palette, then ask for changes in plain language after each pass.

  3. You get a GLB scene in a Three.js viewer; keep refining layout, lighting and interactions through chat.
